Nyacko (she/her/hers) is committed to identifying the areas of organizations that need awareness and healing.

Using a data-driven approach, and centering the voices of the most marginalized, Nyacko works with business leaders, working groups, and community organizations in developing a plan for sustainable health, focused on equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Always returning to the question, “Where is there opportunity for more compassion?”, Nyacko facilitates the clarity, awareness, and accountability that allows her clients to make courageous change and foster  a healthier, more equitable system and organization.

Comfort Kitchen

Organization Development Partner

Comfort Kitchen is an award-winning cafe by day, and a restaurant by night, celebrating flavors and ingredients of the African diaspora — global comfort food — connected from Asia to the Americas.

As the Organization Development Partner, my work focuses on building equitable and sustainable structures, beginning within the organization itself: how we honor the needs of our employees, how we source food, how we are investing back into the local food economy. Our goal is to be a model for a more equitable and sustainable food system.

1:1 EDI Leadership Development

Are you ready to get started in addressing EDI issues within your organization? Start here.

I highly value working with you one-on-one as a leader to address the main principles of EDI work. I help you bring the principles forward in your behavior, in your thinking, and in your ability to run your organization with an expansive and inclusive mindset. This work is difficult, and you don’t have to do it on your own. In our work together, I provide the tools and insight you need to live out your own values around EDI and move forward with your personal learning and growth.

All sessions are delivered virtually.

02

Organization Retreats

Do you need a seasoned facilitator to lead a retreat for your staff/employees?

Whether you need a starting point for EDI, have problems/conflicts in the workplace, or need someone to help you build momentum in the work you’ve already started, I love coming alongside business leaders to equip your teams.

Organization Retreats are great for groups of 10-100 and can be delivered virtually or in person.

03

EDI Committee Advising

Do you already have a committee developed and interested in EDI work, and you’d like to bring in a consultant for steering and strategy?

A group of passionate people is a great start. Through regular meetings centered around your specific goals, we’ll develop a strategy for ongoing EDI work. Your committee members will learn skills in EDI, develop trust amongst each other, and build a support system to continue work in their small group as well as larger organizational systems.

All sessions are delivered virtually.

Small Group EDI Facilitation

Do you need an outside consultant to bring together internal stakeholders to proactively address deep EDI challenges?

Ideal for a group of 3-9 people, during our bi-weekly 2-hour sessions, we will create tools that will allow you to work together to address EDI challenges within your organization. Based on your specific group, I’ll identify and provide the best resources for the group so you can work together more effectively, hold each other accountable, and support each other through the process to ultimately increase interdependence and trust in this and all work.

Small Group Facilitation is delivered virtually.

“I can best describe Nyacko’s facilitation approach as a perfect balance between challenge and compassion. She guides participants in transforming mindsets and undoing biases by creating a space of learning that balances opportunities to challenge deep assumptions and compassionately move through dissonant beliefs. The result is an experience of transformation and leadership development that enables organizations and members to heal and thrive.”
